These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to the services provided by Dear Team (“we,” “us,” or “our”) via our website www.dearteam.co.nz. By engaging our services or purchasing a survey package, you (“you” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

We provide:

Employee engagement surveys, culture checks, 360° leadership reviews, and pulse surveys.

People & Culture consultancy, including insights, advice, and practical recommendations based on survey results.

People & Culture solutions which include frameworks, tools, models, and guides.

Any other related services or deliverables offered on our website.
Services may be delivered in-person, online, via email, video calls, or other digital formats. We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.
Acceptance of Terms
By engaging our service, requesting that work commences, or paying any invoice issued by us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Privacy Policy, as published on our website.
Fees and Payment

Service fees will be invoiced based on the work completed, either at our standard hourly rate or as a fixed fee project fee, or otherwise agreed in writing.

All invoices are payable within 30 days of issue.

All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and exclude GST, unless stated otherwise.

We reserve the right to suspend access to services or survey results until payment is received.
Cancellations and Refunds

If you wish to cancel services, please notify us in writing at least 7 days before the scheduled start date or survey launch.

Cancellations made within this timeframe may be eligible for a full or partial refund, depending on work already completed and any administration costs.

Once a survey or consulting project has commenced, refunds are generally not provided, except where required by law.
Intellectual Property

All survey tools, reports, frameworks, and consultancy materials provided by us are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may use these materials internally for your business only. They may not be distributed, resold, or shared externally without our written consent.

Any intellectual property developed jointly during consultancy services remains the property of Dear Team, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Privacy and Personal Information

We collect personal information (such as names, email addresses, and survey responses) only as needed to provide our services.

Limitation of Liability

You acknowledge that decisions and actions taken based on our surveys, reports, or advice remain your responsibility. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or claims arising from your implementation of our recommendations.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees paid by you for the services giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under New Zealand law.
